By using RetireQuest on any platform, you agree to these terms.

Educational tool, not advice

RetireQuest provides retirement projections for educational purposes only. It is not financial advice. Results depend on assumptions that may not reflect your actual situation. Consult a qualified financial advisor before making retirement decisions.

RetireQuest does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing the app produces — forecasts, percentiles, resilience grades, scenario comparisons, or PDF reports — is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment, or to take any particular financial action.

Forecasts are hypothetical

RetireQuest’s Monte Carlo simulations generate hypothetical market futures based on the assumptions you enter and the model’s defaults. They are illustrations of a range of possible outcomes, not predictions or guarantees. Actual market returns, inflation, taxes, healthcare costs, and lifespans will differ from any simulation. Past performance, including historical return sequences used by the app, does not guarantee future results.

License

Mobile (iOS and Android)

The mobile apps are paid up front. Your App Store or Google Play purchase is your license, governed by the respective store’s standard licensed-application terms. No separate license key or account is required.

Desktop (macOS and Windows)

The desktop apps are licensed with a purchased license key. Your key permits activation on the number of devices (seats) included with your purchase; activation is enforced by the RetireQuest licensing service as described in the privacy policy. You may not share, resell, or publish your license key.

No warranty

RetireQuest is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its projections. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the app; refunds for mobile purchases are handled through the store where you bought the app.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
